John J. Edwards
John J. Edwards is Senior Vice President, Residential Mortgage Division Manager. Mr. Edwards has more than 23 years experience in the residential lending industry, including loan origination, operations, training, management and education. Prior to joining Valley Capital Bank, he was a consultant for mortgage brokers and title companies in Arizona and Utah. During his career, he has also served as regional vice president at U.S. Bank Home Mortgage in Scottsdale, Ariz. Mr. Edwards was also a vice president and district manager for CTX Mortgage Company in Gilbert, AZ, and a division/branch manager for North American Mortgage Company in Utah and Arizona. John J. Edwards has performed all aspects of the mortgage process beginning as a loan officer in 1985 in Mesa, AZ. Mr. Edwards has trained and mentored loan originators and was an American Institute of Banking instructor. Mr. Edwards has been a Mesa, Ariz. resident since 1968.
